AAC Interview Date: 10th July PM This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiology department at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals. We are currently looking to recruit a Consultant in Cardiology with a subspecialty interest in Electrophysiology & Devices. Under close management and leadership of the Clinical Lead, the Cardiology service is undergoing an active expansion and development programme, and recruitment will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued success of the department. This post will be integral to maintaining the quality and extent of the service provided by the Department of Cardiology at Epsom & St Helier University NHS Trust. You will join a well-established cardiology unit with the opportunity to develop services in advance of the Trust’s plan to develop a specialist Emergency Care Hospital. The Department runs specialist Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinics, Arrhythmia Clinics, Device clinics, Valve Clinics and Rapid Access Heart failure Clinics. One of the busiest departments in the South West London network, the department has close links with other local cardiovascular teams, including JCC MDT meetings with local Tertiary Centres (Harefield Hospital & St George’s Hospital). The successful candidate will have a dedicated office space with full administrative support and relevant IT facilities.
